Why did you join Knauf Insulation?
I was looking for a technical, practical role when I saw the role available on the recruitment site I applied straight away. Being from St Helens, I have known that Knauf Insulation has been a great place to work from a couple of family friends who have worked there over the years. Thankfully, my interview went well and I have managed to progress within the company during my time here.
 
What does your role involve?
A wide variety of things! It can vary day-to-day, one day I could be working on plant developing a new product, product improvement or implementing a new quality test. The next day we could then be working in one of our three-product development labs developing a new installation system or benchmarking a product to see how we are currently performing against our competitors. Two days are rarely the same!

What do you like most about your job?
Definitely the variety of the role, in New Product Development we support multiple areas of the business whether that be the plants, technical or commercial.
